TCE and VITA programs by the IRS allow some organizations to apply for annual funding for a period of up to three years.

Through June 1, 2020, applications for TCE and VITA grants will be accepted on grants.gov. The IRS awarded 27 TCE grantees $11 million and 238 VITA grantees $18 million for the filing season of year 2020. However, the two grant programs in the previous year resulted to file about 3 million returns at almost 9,000 sites throughout the United States.
